I think in some cases it may be true. A lot of people prefer online dating because it saves you the time of going on a date, finding out if they like you, etc…But we shouldn’t minimize the connections that we make in real life.
Social media is a great way to meet people, especially people with whom you share interests. Nevertheless it’s important to always be careful in order to avoid being catfished!
