    No, in fact unless you exercise for more than an hour or extremely plain water is more than enough. If you drink it after just a 30min walk you are just adding unneeded calories to your body. However when you exercise for more than an hour and extremely your body start loosing electrolytes which are the ones that are replaced by sports drinks/

    It really depends on the day and your personality. For me sometimes I love to run by myself but specially for long runs I realliy appreciate to do it with a group because it definitely pushes you to do better.
