    I think there is a general misconception about what Islam is. The “jihadist” ideology practiced by terrorist groups is not even the jihad most muslims profess. So we should understand that muslims are victims of terrorism as well, not the ones to blame for it…

    none of those are precisely what the Islam really is. The Islam as many other religions have a lot of “degrees” moderate, extremist, etc, so when you ask about it you have to specify what and whom you really mean.
