Entrepreneurship Interactive Workshop

Guatemalans are entrepreneurs. According to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor in 2014-2015, Guatemala placed 10th on the top 10 entrepreneurial countries in the World. Guatemalans have a positive tendency to venture and create their own endeavors. Most of the time, it happens because of the lack of work opportunities, so they create their own businesses and embark on it alone.

At the same time, Guatemala places 13th on Early-Stage Entrepreneurial Activity, which makes it evident that Guatemalans have an interest to create value towards society. However, 97% of the endeavors fail before reaching the 3.5 year mark.

Therefore, it is necessary to teach tools that will aid them in optimizing their processes, manage resources better, take advantage of social media, and use their networks efficiently and properly to reach a wider audience.

SHEVA conducts interactive workshops for women over the age of 18 focused on tools found on mobile technology that will help them grow.

Women learn to use online platforms to help them develop and optimize their endeavors to better their economic situation. All platforms are available via mobile access.

The workshop includes up to 6 subjects in a 2 hour period for a group of 30 people.
