Totally a myth. Most boys like intelligent girls, whom they can show off to their friends, who are independent and also will have a good influence on their children! Of course there are other types of boys like sofia said, who don’t want a girl that will be more intelligent than them.

I’m a guy and I like smart girls. But I won’t lie, like the others said, there are men out there that don’t like to feel challenged. So when they look for a partner, they aren’t necessarily looking for academic achievements…
