You might ask yourself, what is a game changer? A game changer is an element, in this case a person, that changes an existing situation in a significant way. (definition written after a quick google search)

We’ve learned, and truly believe, that to change the course of a country’s history and improve the future of its citizens, you must educate girls.

The list of things that can happen when girls are educated, is amazeballs:

    1. An extra year of secondary school can increase a girl’s potential income by 15 to 25%.
    2. An increase of only 1% in girls secondary education attendance, adds 0.3% to a country’s GDP.
    3. Girls with eight years of education are four times less likely to marry as children.
    4. A child born to a mother who can read and write is 50 percent more likely to survive past the age of 5.
    5. Educated mothers are more than twice as likely to send their children to school.

As you can see, when a girl is educated it affects her life, her future family life, her community and her nation. It’s a ripple effect.

And the girls of today, are the women of tomorrow.
